than 35 years of experience from oil and gas production, in Tanzania ststeoil intent to make gas in Mtwara Region

Service provided in this assignment included the following.

Statoil contracted NORPLAN to carry out the following studies at the three sites in Rushungi and Kilwa area. The sites include the following:

Site No. 8 (North of Rushungi Village Bay).

Site No 10:  Near the town Rasbura at north of Lindi Bay

Site No. 3 bis: Near the town Kikwetu south of Machinga Bay and Lindi Airport

Scope of work for each individual site above comprised of the following: –

1. Geotechnical investigation including drilling up to 50 m depth with sampling and laboratory tests (3 drillings on three locations)
2. Seismic studies, data analysis and interpretation on stratigraphy, faults, karsts etc
3. Laboratory testing.
4. Reporting
