Short description of the project:

The 358 MW Rhuhudji and 222 MW Rumakali projects are both located in the Njombe region. The assignment is for updating the feasibility study, developing a conceptual design, producing tender documents, and undertaking an environmental and social impact assessment for the 358 MW Ruhudji Hydropower Plant and 222 MW Rumakali Hydropower and their associated transmission lines.

Service provided in this Project included the following.

The scope included undertaking basic design and employer’s requirement based on FIDIC Silver Book.

The following services were provided for both Ruhudji and Rumakali Projects

• Establishing design criteria for all project components including drawings and specifications
• Update cost estimates for all packages
• Conduct financial and economic analysis
• Preparation of Tender Documents
