Short Description
Ngualla Rare Earth Project is centered on the Ngualla carbonatite complex in southern
Tanzania, which hosts one of the world’s highest-grade and largest, rare-earth deposits. The facilities located in Tanzania include Tailing Storage Facility, Beneficiation plant, Air strip and Solar Array farm. Field works took place in September to November 2023
Norplan was also involved in the investigation of the Southern Access road from Kininga to Ngualla Village and to the project area in 2021.

Service provided in this assignment included the following:
- Rotary Drilling of boreholes including Standard penetration test, Logging and sampling
- Soil Resistivity, Seismic Test,
- Excavation of Trial pits including Logging and sampling.
- Insitu Dynamic Cone PenetrationTests
- Laboratory Testing including Soil Classification, Consolidation Tests, Chemical Tests
- Analysis and Interpretive reports
