Short description of the project:
The United Republic of Tanzania in Collaboration with Agricultural and food security Program (GASFSP) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) is implementing the Tanzania Initiative for Preventing Aflatoxin Contamination (TANIPAC) which is a five-year (2019-2023).
The overall goal of the project is to improve farm incomes, rural livelihoods, food and nutrition security, export revenues and contribute to poverty reduction through aflatoxin prevention and control in maize and groundnuts value chains to the community with the vision and mission of increasing safety and improving healthy environment to citizen and is mandated with major objective and core-functions in biological contamination control infrastructure/facilities improvement under Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) through (TANIPAC) whereby the National biological Control Unit Laboratory at Kibaha is among the selected site in order to improve quality of laboratory test on food production in a conducive environmental from the farmer to the end user.
