Project Name

Uranex Tanzania Limited (UTL) is a Tanzanian registered company wholly owned by an Australian based company Magnis Resources Ltd an overseas Investor. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of a Graphite mine deposit in the southern part of Tanzania. UTL acquired Special Mining License (SML) No. 550/2015, which is in Ruangwa District, Lindi Region in year 2015. Exploration undertaken in the area has identified sufficient mineralization for a potential large-scale graphite mine in the area.

UTL has decided to build alternative modern houses outside the SML. UTL has acquired approximately 54 acres of land outside the SML area to build houses for the affected households falling inside the SML. This village land is named Nachu village and since it will host a minimum of 59 households, key social facilities such as dispensary, schools, markets, recreational facilities and others become mandatory to support the population of the area.
