conducting feasibility studies and detailed engineering design for 9 irrigation schemes in the Katavi Region named; Kilida, Ikondamoyo, Ugalla, Mnyagala, Lugomesi, Kakese (Mpanda) Ilalangulu/Mirumba, Msambara, Kafisha Ikola (Mlele) covering irrigable area approximated to 7,000 hectars.

Detailed Activities

  • Carry out a topographical survey of the Irrigation scheme potential area;
  • Conduct Water Resource and Hydrological study;
  • Conduct a soil survey;
  • Conduct Agronomic study;
  • Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study (ESIA)
  • Conduct detailed engineering Design of Irrigation Infrastructures, farm structures, farm Roads and Drainage systems as well as flood protection Dyke if any;
  • Carry out Geotechnical Investigations
  • Carry out financial and economic analysis.
