Short Description of the Projects:

This is an ongoing project. The assignment aims at Implementing demand-responsive and sustainable Community Water Supply Services, providing basic drinking water and sanitation facilities, Strengthening community capacity to plan, implement, operate and maintain their facilities, Developing district-level capacity to deliver Community Water Supply services, creating an enabling environment for the private sector and NGOs to play an active role in the delivery of goods and services and assisting and supporting RUWASA and communities in planning, implementation and management of WSS facilities, Promoting and providing support for efficient and sustainable rural water supply and sanitation facilities.

Service provided in this assignment included the following:

• Hydrological investigation
• Hydrogeological Investigation
• Survey (Chain, Topological + Bathymetric survey)
• Water consumption survey
• Water demand estimation
• Water quality analysis
• Detail design (Water supply, Water treatment plant, Structure)
• Flow measurement (River).
