Short description of the project.
The Msangama – Namanyere – Katongoro – Kipili (62 km) road forms an important road network segment that facilitates business and activities at Kipili Port and other parts of Rukwa Region and to the neighbour Countries including Congo (DRC) and Burundi. The road development will provide an important link between the Lake Shore areas including the port and inland areas. The road connects the Kipili Port and other parts of Rukwa Region thus forming an important catalyst in reducing poverty and spur economic growth in the project area and the interconnected areas.
