Short description of the project.

The road project is located in Dodoma Region in the central part of Tanzania and forms part of the Dodoma – Babati trunk road. The road section starts in Dodoma municipal up to Mayamaya area which is the end of the project. The implementation of the project is intended to facilitate corridor’s economic growth as it will reduce transport costs and harness the project area’s agricultural activities as well as to stimulate the transportation of products from the project area to the markets in areas of consumption.

Service provided in this assignment included the following:

  • Supervision of the construction works. The team reviewed the documents and is supervising the construction of the road and structures as well as provision of management and administration of the project during and after completion of the construction work.
