Short description of the project.
The road project is located in Mara Region in the Eastern Northern part of Tanzania. The road project starts off at Mwanza/Mara border, transverses Bunda township and ends in Musoma town. The road crosses two truss bridges namely: Rubana/Guruneti and Suguti.
The implementation of the project is intended to improve the road quality and widen its width so as to facilitate the corridor’s economic growth as it will reduce transport costs.
Service provided in this assignment included the following.
- Supervision of the construction works. The Consultant supervision team reviewed the contract documents and supervised the construction of the road and structures as well as provision of management and administration of the project during and after completion of the construction work.
