Short Description
Geotechnical Investigation for the Proposed Design of Storm Water Dam 1 and Tailing Storage Facility located in the Nachu Graphite Mine. The project site is located in Mihewe Village – Matambarale Ward, a 26km drive North of Ruangwa Town which is 151km in the western direction of Lindi Municipality. TSF Geotechnical Investigation took place in july 2021, while that of storm water dam site took place in may 2022.

- Rotary Drilling of Boreholes includes Performing Standard Penetration tests, Logging and Sampling
- Trial Pit Excavation
- Permeability Test
- Geophysical Investigation
- Laboratory Testing includes Soils Classification, Consolidation test, Chemical tests
- Analysis and Preparation of Detailed Geotechnical Report.
