Short Description

The North Mara Barrick Gold mine is located in north-west Tanzania in the Tarime district of the Mara region. It is around 100 kilometers east of Lake Victoria and 20 kilometers south of the Kenyan border. The mentioned projects were aimed at improving the mine operations and capacity in both storage of row materials and increase in efficiency.

Service provided in this assignment included the following:

• Rotary Drilling of boreholes include Standard penetration test, Logging and Sampling
• Trial Pit Excavations
• Geophysical Investigation (Seismic Test).
• Laboratory Testing including Soil Classification, Consolidation Tests, Chemical Tests
• Geotechnical Report
