Short Description.
NORPLAN (T) LTD as Subcontractor of JYOTI Structures Limited on behalf of the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd (TANESCO) carry out geotechnical investigations for the proposed Tower sites for the Transmission line from Dodoma to Singida. A total of 65 locations proposed for installation of Power Transmission Towers were investigated. The investigation included, test borehole drilling, field testing SPT and DPL, and further testing in the laboratory.
Service provided in this assignment included the following:
- Rotary Drilling of Boreholes includes Preforming Standard Penetration tests, Logging and Sampling
- Laboratory Testing includes Soils Classification tests, Consolidation tests, Chemical Tests
- Analysis and Preparation of Detailed Geotechnical Report
