Short Description
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Eacop) will cross four major rivers and several wetlands in Uganda, while in Tanzania, river crossings will avoid contact with the main water systems, with the pipeline passing underground using horizontal directional drilling, therefor Geotechnical investigation is the one of mojor requirement to obtain sub-surface properties of the soil and Rocks.
Service provided in this assignment included the following:
- Rotary Drilling of 8 Boreholes up to 60m including Performing Standard penetration tests, Logging and sampling
- Seismic Test
- Permeability Test
- laboratory Testing including Soil classification, Atterberg limit test Consolidation tests, Chemical tests
